The word tatau was loaned into English, the pronunciation being changed to conform to English phonology as "tattoo".Sailors on the voyage later introduced both the word and reintroduced the concept of tattooing to Europe.

Dont really watch the shows much. The tats always seem to turn out well done but the actual pieces just are never nice.

I was looking at a pair of DC shoes the other day and they had some crazy tattoo artwork on them. My buddy was working there and he told me the guys from Miami Ink apparently designed them.
