Although it may have boring moments, like any other awards show, this sounds like a potentially fun way to spend an evening.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Gay tabloid site TheSword.com will stream the GayVN Awards live on Saturday, March 28 and working with sister site GayPornBlog.com to provide live coverage of the entire GayVN Weekend. The two sites, both part of the NakedSword Network, will be providing photos, gossip and video coverage beginning with the Falcon kick-off party and Castro Tailgate parties on Friday night, the Tim & Roma Show Porn Star Brunch on Saturday morning and red carpet coverage prior to the Awards. After the show, TheSword.com will post the winners and do a post-show wrap up of the highlights of the night.
“This is the biggest night of the year in the gay porn world,” said Michael Stabile, Creative Director at NakedSword. “As a co-producer of the Awards this year, we want to let more people in on the debauchery. So while the rest of the industry is getting sauced and toasting to their successes, we’ll be working into the wee hours to get all the photos and gossip to the porn world’s far-flung fan base.”
This is the second year that the GayVN Awards show has been held at historic Castro Theatre, and is only the third year the legendary event has been open to the public. The NakedSword-sponsored “Shameless” afterparty, at Wunderland, marks the first time that fans will be able to mix with the hundreds of stars who fly into San Francisco for the annual event. In addition, over a dozen studios will throw parties at bars in the city’s Castro District to connect stars and fans. On the morning of the awards, fans are invited to a porn-studded brunch where a live taping of NakedSword’s gay porn webcast, The Tim & Roma Show, will raise money for the Stop AIDS Project.
The Live Stream will begin on http://www.TheSword.com at 7:00PM Pacific Daylight Time. The Awards begin at 7:30 and will run until 10PM.
